i was a total indulge-a-saurus tonight at dragonfish, eating sushi (i love tobiko, aka flying fish eggs!),
dak bulgogi (korean BBQ chicken) and calamari,
and because i had to try it, tempura bacon! this last one was a bit of a textural disappointment. the bacon itself was steam-cooked inside the tempura shell, so you got a crispy outside.. and limp pig inside. everything was tasty, although i don't usually indulge the gluten gods so much. it was a special occasion, though, with old friends in town, and i elected to go with the flow. i am lucky that i can choose to do so - my husband would have had a full-blown asthma attack eating what i did tonight!
