saturday night dinner, complete with pine needles, the audubon field guide to the pacific northwest, and some thoroughly scorched asparagus (we donated the really charred ones to the campfire). the copper river salmon (fresh, not frozen, and wild-caught) was quite a treat. especially with all that frizzled shallot goodness, cooked in butter from grass-fed cows. dr0000l..
